Electrical Plant

General Electrical System  

  • All electrical equipment shall be easily accessible for maintenance, repair, and removal, using only marine-grade components with proven reliability.
  • All electrical installations and wiring shall comply with IEC 60092 and CE certification standards (Category A - Ocean).
  • Complete schematics and technical drawings of the electrical system will be provided to the vessel owner.
  • Interior installations shall be splash-proof, while exterior installations shall be fully waterproof.
  • Cable Management:
    • All cables shall be numbered and referenced in the electrical schematics.
    • Low-voltage and radio-frequency cables shall be routed separately from 230V/400V power lines.
    • If separation is not possible, cables of the same insulation grade will be used to minimize interference.

Shore Power System

Shore Power Cable Handling System 

  • A grinding system for shore power cable management shall be installed to ensure smooth and safe handling.
